Description

1947 - the second of the three great post war vintages. This lovely bottle has no label and was identified as Papes clement as it was part of a 6 bottle collection of the same from a private wine cellar. 4 bottles have labels that are peeling off showing the date and name. Capsule (orange) is in good condition, slight oxidation on top. Papes Clemet shioed embossed on bottle. Level is upper middle shoulder. i have another bottle of the same at lower mid shoulder, no lable, capsule cut to reveal cork but still sealing the top.
