Maintains an intense dark, medium-high layer maroon color , closed. Not to believe that we are looking at a wine from the 60's. Elegant, ripe and full. On the palate it is clean, fresh, silky as well as concentrated and complex. It shines at a very high level with a packaging of acidity that integrates everything.
Wine Info: 60% tempranillo, 30% garnacha, 10% mazuelo and others. 13% vol. It remains between 12 and 18 months in large wooden vats from the founding period and, a small part, in glazed cement tanks, where it completes the malolactic fermentation and stabilizes. The wine matures in used 225-liter American oak barrels between 200 and 210 months, almost 18 years. Subjected to various periodic racking during this time. The average age of the barrels is 30 years, even reaching 45 in some cases. Filtered with a membrane before being bottled directly from the barrel on demand. Marketed in the late 1970s.
