Description

This Côte-Rôtie is made from Syrah and a very tiny part of Viognier (5%), a white grape from the Rhône valley. Both have benefited from careful growth on terraces made of gneiss. The grapes are harvested by hand before being 100% destemmed and macerated for 3 weeks in temperature-controlled vats. 30 months' ageing in barriques and demi-muid barrels allows the red wine to develop its fruity and floral aromas. The tannins are fine, even elegant. Crunchy on the palate, it showcases fruity notes. Its fleshy character means it pairs well with sauce-based meat. VERY fine and RARE
