Description

This wine's make up has probably got an element of noble rot (botrytis) in it,because the 1971 vintage in the Rheinhessen is considered the greatest in living memory for "Pourriture Noble".
Robert Parker gave the 1971 vintage a 98 Point rating,a score that has never since been achieved in Germany.
This wine should be very opulent, with a honied richness, combined harmoniously with acidity and minerality, allowing it to develop at a slow pace.

Deinhard is one of the most respected, longest established firms in the wine world. The company was founded in 1794 and their cellars in Koblenz originate from 1850.
