2 x single bottle lots of Chateau D'Arche, 2eme Cru Sauternes from the very good 1934 vintage
This has superb provenance, hence the condition, having been stored long-term in the cellars of the Brugerolle (Cognac producer) family, the new owner of the property then selling on the entirety of the cellar.
The oldest other vintage of Chateau D'Arche currently for sale worldwide is 1946.
Please note one of the photos shows the vintage clearly where the ink has clung to the bottle. This bottle is now sold and the vintage is not clear on any of the other 10 bottles I was in ownership of, including the 2 for sale here. These are the final 2 bottles available, with the highest ullage from the 10, a miracle remaining very top shoulder/bottom neck for the age. In regards to the vintage, their cellar was also laid out in date order, clarifying the vintage.
The negotiant, named on bottom label, Kaesler Olsen & Co Bordeaux, also clarifies the age of the bottle.
The bottle I was very fortunate to open was in miraculous condition.
Labels - minimal tears/wear, but completely legible, unfaded and in unbelievable condition.
Capsule - wear, but again in remarkable condition. No seepage.
Due to being stored on straw, a small amount is stuck to the bottles
