One bottle of one Charbonniere's top cuvee from a top vintage and at it's plateau of maturity. This wine has just been re-rated (June 2010) by Robert Parker at the Wine Advocate, giving it 94 points. He says:
"The 1998 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Hautes Brusquieres Cuvee Speciale is pure kirsch liqueur, a riveting example of old-vine Chateauneuf du Pape, with loads of personality, its spectacular nose of kirsch and framboise followed by similar flavors in an opulent, pedal-to-the-metal style. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. Both of these wines have reached full maturity, and both are gorgeous examples of the vintage and of Chateauneuf du Pape. "
