2007 Hubert Lamy Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru) Burghound, 6/1/2009, June 2009, Allen Meadows (web) 92 A pungent and expressive if very cool nose of lemon, straw and white flower aromas marry into detailed, pure, indeed crystalline flavors that explode onto the almost painfully intense, bone dry and explosive finish that drenches the palate in extract. This is built on a base of stone and is classically styled with moderate austerity. (drink starting 2012)

2007 Hubert Lamy Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru) View From the Cellar, 1/1/2009, Jan/Feb 2009, John Gilman 93 By a small margin, the 2007 en Remilly is my favorite wine in the cellar this year, as it offers up a very refined and complex bouquet of apple, grapefruit, white peaches, a kaleidoscope of minerality, apple blossoms and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and very racy, with great purity and transparency, outstanding mid-palate depth, lovely soil inflection and a very long, very racy and crystalline finish. A superb bottle of complex and refined St. Aubin that shows lovely nervosité on the stunning finish. (drink 2012-2030)
