2000 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Ursules (France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Beaune 1er Cru) Burghound, 4/1/2002, 2nd Quarter, 2002, Allen Meadows (web) 87-90 Almost always the best of the Jadot Beaune portfolio and so it is again in 2000 with its very ripe, plumy nose of earthy pinot fruit and nicely detailed, medium weight, complex flavors that display impressive finishing complexity. This is a bit more obviously structured yet there is good buffering sève and fine length. A lovely effort. (drink 2006-2012)
