A pungent and expressive nose of white flower and honeysuckle that is ripe but stops short of being exotic gives way to rich, full, powerful and relatively vibrant flavors that are not as concentrated as the best here but still, there is impressive depth and refinement on the backward finish.This is not a great Bâtard but I have the sense that at 11 years of age now, the vines are beginning to produce better raw material and that in a few years, we'll start to see some terrific things from this wine.
