"Tasted by mwanasheria on 2/28/2012 & rated 92 points: Dunn Howell Mountain Tasting (Eltville, Germany): Mango, passion fruit, honey, nice bitterness and minerality. (471 views)

Tasted by Xavier Auerbach on 3/8/2009 & rated 94 points: A tasting at Weingut Robert Weil (Kiedrich): Wonderful botrytis, rich and stylish. (401 views)

Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 2/25/2009: The estate fills that this is as good as thier 1959 or 1971. So they say the 1976 Auslese is in its prime. So go ahead and wait 33 years for this one to come around and be in its youth.
It is shockingly beautiful and developed now. Oranage, tangerine and a creaminess not in the other bottles.

Apperently this vineyard site has some very special geothermal activities that make it what it is. Which makes it result in totally dry botritys. Total production is around 750 bottles. $75 for a half bottle. (974 views)

Tasted by namri on 2/5/2009 & rated 90 points: VDP Rheingau Riesling Review 2009 (German House, London, U.K.): @ Great Rheingau Riesling Review 2009, London:
Nice, I am carrying a bag of "superfood-fruits" and standing in a traffic jam with the fumes going right through me. In other words, a great nose. Broad attack that takes over the tongue, reminding me of fowl red apples. The mid-p tastes as if one took a handful of Haribo Tropical Fruit minus the "chew-factor". Very good finish. (1414 views)

Tasted by Sladky on 6/21/2008 & rated 96 points: My WOTN. Rich golden yellow, heady aromas of mango, candied passion fruit and vanilla. Sweet and creamy on the palate, tantalizing depth is counteracted by saline minerality. A hauntingly naughty wine. Serve this at the end of Valentine Day dinner and you are assured a night- that will be as sweet and unforgetable as this wine. (1056 views)
