Description

1er Grand Cru example of this extremely rare vintage which survived the last 2 years of the second world war and the aftermath.

The wine has lost a lot of its original light ruby colour but is between the base of the neck and the very top of the shoulder. There is a little frosting to the capsule seal but the cork is visible and in perfect condition. The label has suffered bin soiling as can be seen in the pictures but is otherwise undamaged and the gold embossed year on the label is intact.
