From Cellartracker some recent notes:

22/3/2014 - JONNYG LIKES THIS WINE: 92 Points
A beautiful bottle, evidencing great tertiary characteristics and wonderful typicity. Some bricking on the edges, and a touch of madeirisation on the nose and palate, but nothing that distracts from the balanced and lovely leather, cedar and soft berry flavors. Gentle and inviting, without the apparent fragility others have observed in recent tasting notes.

16/8/2013 - JOHNH1001 WROTE: 88 Points
Rob's house. Decanted and drank over 2 hours. At first the nose was rich and the palate was funky with a sour finish. But this rounded out and gained great depth and complexity. All old flavours. Medium finish

15/11/2012 - PAPIES WROTE:
Five Decades of Lynch Bages with Richard Brazier (Handford Wines, London): Avoid long decanting here as this beauty is a fragile one and picks up maderised notes of oxidation. That aside this is still a very good wine and a lot of people in the group had this in their top 3. The fruit is there and so is the acidity and soft on the tannin. Still we found it difficult to conclude a rating for this one.

30/10/2012 - THA WROTE:
Consumed with Jean Charles Cazes, who was noticeably excited to drink it. Jean Charles deferred to the elder Anthony Barton to speak to the vintage, which garnered a laugh from the others at the lunch. I now see how Lynch Bages bullied its way from a Fifth Growth to a Super Second. The Lynch Bages had the most colour, depth and "youth" of the '66s. It still had a complex nose of smoke and grilled fig. On the palate it was refreshing! Delicious.
