Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Red fruit ahead of earth flavors and aromas, giving the impression it was at least a decade younger than actuality. Lots of acid and tannins in the forefront, giving it a firm texture.

Kind of a funky nose, but got better on the palate, some fruit, medium body and decent length.

This needs air!!!!!
Nearly made the mistake of taking this for dead, but with three hours in the decanter (in a cool place) this opened up very nicely. Cedar wood, cigar box, peanuts, nice roast aromas and forest floor. Really nice mature Bordeaux
