I am not giving the winning bidder any guarantees on this bottle as this was not a good Bordeaux vintage.The likelihood is that this wine will have a cigar-box nose and a very earthy,cedary,damp forest floor taste on the palate,with fairly strong acidity.The fruit will have probably faded,but it may be a bottle which could cause interest and a surprise on a 40th Anniversary/Birthday/Christmas celebration...Cos D'Estournel is,after all,considered a Supersecond Claret!
Because of the age of the bottle,the wine is in a 73cl size bottle,not the normal 75cl that we have today.
