A very successful wine, Leoville-Barton obtained much more fruit and stuffing in its 1976 than did Langoa. Rich, fully mature, with a plummy fruitiness, and fat, lazy finish, this wine's bouquet seems to jump from the glass. Sweet, ripe, velvety fruit caresses the palate. It is a little low in acidity, but delicious for drinking now.

In overall good order.
Label (see photo) dusty but complete
Capsule: Complete and no signs of seepage.
