Description

Two bottles in very good order - see photos.

Wine Journal Mar 2010 NEAL MARTIN 92
Ex-cellar bottle tasted blind at the Lynch Bages vertical. Light colour than others and a more open-knit nose, tobacco and cigar box and with time in the glass: burnt toast, a touch of melted toffee. The 1978 Lynch Bages has a very smooth entry on the palate, lovely balance between austerity and concentration. Good acidity...this is quintessential English claret. Blackberry, spice and a touch of pepper. Good persistency towards the caramel, savoury finish. Excellent…I was shocked when the vintage was revealed! Tasted September 2009.

Labels as per photos and are complete, as are the capsules.
The levels are as per photo and very good for 35 years in bottle and testimony to fine cellaring.
