Description

1982 was a legendary vintage in Bordeaux and this bottle of Giscours has a high wine fill into neck and should hopefully still be drinking well,similarly to the CellarTracker tasting note below:-

"Full red.Slightly roasted red fruits,currant and spice cake on the nose.Fat,full and sweet,but could use a bit more shape.Has plenty of extract,though,and builds nicely towards the back.Finishes with dusty tannins and noteworthy sweetness of fruit".

"Had it against the '73,this still seems quite young.The wine is quite primal for a 33-year-old wine.Dark fruits,violets,a very little cassis and mild leather.Dense and unctuous on the palate.Acidity is medium-low.Firm structure,tannins are vibrant and drying on the mid-length finish.I feel like I opened this too early.It may have been stored too well".
