Immaculate bottle with a ‘base of neck’ level, embossed capsule over a firm cork. A complete label in very good condition.

I have 4 other bottles in the same condition may be available to be invoiced via BidForWine.

Chateau Beychevelle, a traditionally styled Bordeaux wine full of cassis, earth, spice and tobacco notes that age’s very well.

Perfectly seamless, integrated and complete wine. Polished not by winemaker but by age. This is the pinnacle expression of Cabernet blends in Bordeaux and if you think it's too smoky or green or insufficiently fruited you're wrong.

4/1/2018 - MBESCHE WROTE: 90 Points
I opened it and was ready to send it too the sink, but my
dinner companion argued for patience. Meanwhile I went to the cellar
to get a substitute. After 30 minutes the Beycheville started to
open and was both interesting and enjoyable. Definitely needs
food. Not as good as the previous bottle from the case, two more
to go.

3/25/2018 - DIANE (LI) WROTE:
This bottle is both fresher and sweeter than the 1989 Beychevelle I had last week. This has deep, dark fruit, cedar, barnyard. Fully resolved tannins, velvety, and an aftertaste that goes on and on with a bit of milk chocolate at the end. Drank it with braised beef in red wine.
