Description

A good pair from the excellent 1985 vintage.
Both have good levels (base of neck) complete labels, and embossed capsules cover firm corks.

The 28 hectares produce around 90000 bottles and are planted with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot.

One of the most consistent estates in the Cru Bourgeois group. Until a few years ago it was owned and run by Luc Thienpont whose family have other mainly right bank properties - including Le Pin..
Zédé has now been absorbed by Château Labegorce its near neighbour and no longer features as an independent château.
