Description

Two lots of one 75cl bottle each of the 1985 Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge. Considered to be the Lafite of the Languedoc, its rather rare to find such an old bottle of this wine in such good nick.

Bought on release in the UK and professionally stored until its removal in June 2012, whereupon it was stored in my temperature controlled cellars. The wines were still in their original wooden cases, which I personally opened.

There is slight cosmetic nicks on the label, otherwise its in excellent condition - foil and capsule intact, no visible crusting or seepage, fill is very high (approx 1cm from bottom of foil). Do see the pictures.

As far as I can tell, no other UK wine merchant / broker is currently offering this vintage of Gassac, just underlining its rarity.
