Description

TWO lots of TWO bottles.

Superb levels maintained by a lifetime in a damp cellar.
Consequently the labels are a little 'distressed' but the essentials remain. Good capsules, firm corks.

G.P.D. is planted with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot and passes 12-14 months in barrels. About 14.000 cases per vintage.

Ink, iodine, blackberry, leather and violets. Concentrated and fresh with great balance and silky tannin. Very elegant with a long full robust finish.

Very fine mature Pauillac. Still good cassis fruit and quite smooth too. Not drying at all.
