An increasingly scarce mature Australian Cabernet Sauvignon from the renowned Wolf Blass winery. The President's Selection represented the finest barrels from the vintage, matured in new oak and produced in limited quantities to showcase the very best fruit from South Australia's premier Cabernet vineyards.
The 1990 vintage has now enjoyed over three decades of careful bottle ageing, making this an appealing bottle for collectors of mature New World wines or anyone wishing to experience classic Australian Cabernet at full maturity.
The bottle retains an excellent high fill level with an intact capsule. The labels show some age-related wear, including a small tear to the front label and a crease to the rear label, as shown in the photographs, but the overall presentation remains attractive for a wine of this age.
