Description

Three good looking bottles with high, in neck levels, good clean labels and embossed capsules.

Robert Parker. (Bordeaux.A Comprehensive Guide. Third Edition).
In contrast to the powerful, tannic 1996,the 1995 D'Angludet is a silky,supple,charming,forthcoming wine that is well above its cru bourgeois classification. The color is a healthy,saturated,deep ruby/purple, and the wine offers up gobs of jammy black fruits intermixed with subtle herbs,spice,and toast.In the mouth, the wine displays excellent richness,a layered,medium-bodied personality,well-disguised tannin and acidity, and a hedonistic mouthfeel.
A sleeper of the vintage. Last tasted, November 1997. (88 Points).

Coravin fun - new arrivals (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Plums, dusty spice, biscuit, leather, cream, a little cherry and sweet oak. The palate is a reflection of the nose, slightly sour acidity and firm but integrated tannins. Okay.

Amazing cork in this bottle, high fill, no saturation, wine in perfect condition. Purchased en prim, fruit still fleshy and lively, lost it’s puppy fat, now sleek and elegant. Would probably be outshone by a more ‘senior’ wine but a gorgeous glass of classic claret - perfect moment for this particular bottle.
