Description

La Louvière vies in quality with many Classified growths in the area despite it not being a "Cru Classé" itself. Owned by the Lurton wine dynasty it is consistently well noted.

These three bottles are in very good order and as per photos.
Levels: 2 in neck & 1 Base of neck

This is the kind of wine I want to drink on an autumn night, as the nose is bursting with dried leaves, earth and dried pressed flowers. Lots of secondary notes here to enjoy, but the fruit (though mature) is still there. Seems to be at peak.

Similar to my last note, though this bottle showed a little bit more youthful. Nose is full of black current, strong bell pepper, gravel, and vanilla. Very prominent nose. Entry shows bell pepper supported by dark fruit and earth. This fans out in the middle with a green chile note and into the finish where there is an earthy mushroom flavor and some unresolved oak. Tannins are fine grained. Very Good - Hold

Opened over 3-4 hours. Dark Crimson. Nose is full Cherry and garigue. Mid palate is a little weak. Great finish!
