Description

Here's what Neal Martin wrote in 2010:
The 1995 has an expressive, more loose-knit nose compared to the 1998, defined by red fruit than black: touches of raspberry leaf, leather, a little soy and an attractive citrus aromas that are usurped by a scent of sloes with aeration that almost disguises a vegetal element loitering stage left. Very harmonious on the palate, nicely balanced with tangible minerality, leading to a quasi-Pomerol finish with touches of game, mulberry and espresso. Drinking perfectly now. Tasted February 2010.
