Produced by the legendary E. Guigal, one of the Rhône Valley's most celebrated estates, the Brune et Blonde de Guigal is a benchmark Côte-Rôtie, crafted predominantly from Syrah with a small proportion of Viognier. The highly regarded 1996 vintage has now enjoyed three decades of bottle age, developing the complex aromas and silky texture that mature Côte-Rôtie is renowned for.nThis bottle presents well overall, with a good fill level for its age. The labels show expected cellar wear and ageing, and the capsule has light marks consistent with long-term storage. A fantastic opportunity to acquire a mature example from one of the world's most respected Rhône producers.
