This wine was third in the Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wine List for 2002.The tasting notes were as follows:-

"Solid and focused,with mineral,blackberry,and licorice characters.Full-bodied and very chunky,with lots of tannin and a long,long finish.Needs time to open.Best after 2003".
