Description

Three bottles of the white Mas de Daumas-Gassac, the very special and highly reputed vineyard in the south of France.

This vintage produced 53.000 bottles and 150 magnums.

The property is run on organic lines. The wine is manually harvested and bottled unfiltered at the property after very traditional vinification in oak barrels.

25% each of the following grape varieties are blended: Viognier from Condrieu, Chardonnay from Burgundy and Petit Manseng from Jurancon. The remaining 25% of vines include grape varieties from Georgia, Armenia, Madeira, etc. as well as the slightly better known Roussanne, Marsanne, Clairette, Muscat and Chenin. Do not serve too cold. Decant it and witness how the primary pear-fruit Viognier aromas melt into the wine to be replaced by an impression of warm butter, pollen and dried fruits. Roll the wine gently in your mouth and you will understand harmony.
