Tasted at the Burgundy 2003 dinner (non-blind).Another stunning Clos St.Jacques,with an ethereal bouquet of wild strawberry,rose petals,morello cherry and just an overriding,enthralling sense of purity.You could never tell that this was a torridly hot growing season.The palate is sensuous,silky tannins,fleshy,lithe and harmonious,struck through with an effortless quality.Not a wine of power,in fact this is more feminine than expected with a natural,wild,red-berry finish.Just superb.Drink now-2020+.
