Description

This is immediately delicious and develops confidently over time in the glass - no sign at all of undue age in the two bottles I've consumed with gusto to date.

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar:
"Pale green-tinged color. Cool nose offers mint, minerals, ginger and stone. Bright, spicy and almost surprisingly round for a wine dominated by crushed stone flavor. Nicely tactile, precise and long on the aftertaste, with juicy minerality promising greater complexity with four or five years of additional bottle aging." ST 92+?

Burghound:
"Tight, reserved and backward aromas of white flower, wet stone and subtle spice hints lead to pure, precise and brilliantly detailed middle weight flavors culminate in an intense and unusually powerful finish that displays minerality to burn. A classically styled Perrières that should age for at least a decade." AM 92-94

Average Cellartracker score 91.5 and rising! See all notes here.

SWYANG's note of 4 April sums the wine up very well - it's sweetly creamy and complex by turns - excellent no doubt with rich food but also ripe for contemplative sipping!
