Description

The iconic Monte Bello from Ridge. The 2007 vintage was a challenge with lower than hoped for yields but some exceptional wines were made.

The 2007 Monte Bello is a fantastic example of the vintage - being slighted lighter/more elegant than some of the most sought after years.

I think that the 07 is just entering into its drinking window and should continue to improve over the next decade plus.

Tasting Note -
"Very elegant, gorgeous complex nose with lots of violets and roses. This is an elegant red wine that is medium in body with grace and lightness. Lovely wine that is still too young to enjoy now and will obviously age well. Though one can enjoy it now, it would be best to wait at least 2-4 more years.
