Description

Intensely aromatic spicy blackcurrants and ripe plums with vanilla. A fine and well-structured palate bursts with juicy blackberry characters and hints of soft vanilla, ripe tannins and a balanced finish.

Deep garnet red. A bit of classic chalk on the nose with some red cherries, forest floor and a touch of graphite. Medium tannins (5.5/10) with quite a bit of acidity and a medium plus body. Some aged characteristics on the palate with some meatiness, leather, dark red fruits and mountain berries. Medium plus finish. Acidity is a bit high, would be nice to see if that mellows out with a decant or some age. At the moment, drink till 2021.
