The Winemaker Michael Brajkovich has said this 2019 is the finest Estate Chardonnay he has made.

That when some suggest the Estate is the best contender for best value, hand-harvested Chardonnay in all of New Zealand. Made from six carefully selected vineyard sites around the estate, it showcases brilliant and unique characters of the Kumeu region. Enticing ripe citrus, a hint of smoke, concentrated and deep, but with lovely, fresh acidity and a crisp, saline finish.
Easily competes with most Premier Cru Burgundy but at fraction of the price. 

93 Robert Parker Wine Advocate. Boasting signature scents of toasted hazelnuts and white peaches, the 2019 Estate Chardonnay is a classic example of the house style. Medium to full-bodied, it somehow manages to be creamy and zesty at the same time, with rich fruit enlivened by electric acidity and bright citrus notes. Always enjoyable young but this vintage looks to have at least a decade's worth of longevity. Miss at your peril as these are climbing in quality and price
