A great wine at it s peak! The bottles are in perfect condition. Some tasting notes:

Still drinking well and went very well with. Hi Ken cordon Blue with a Parmesan cheese sauce and asparagus risotto that was made using the wine as well.
12/10/2018 - DEPECHEMORODER: 92 Points
Kakpoo s note is excellent and largely describes my experience. Nicely oxidised with age, there s lots of citrus and baked apple with a gunflinty whiff around everything. Wonderfully balanced and quite stylish for a White Bordeaux of this age, but doesn t deliver anything profound either. This is peaking for me.

In terms of what I want from a Bordeaux Blanc, this one meets all the requirements: gentle oxidation combined with tropical fruits and some oak on the nose, creamy mouthfeel giving way to dry acidity on the finish. I m giving it a 92 because it sufficiently meets all of my requirements. I m holding at 92 because it doesn t excel in any particular dimension. The nose could be more exotic and distinct, the mouthfeel could be even richer in texture and the finish could be more enjoyable and give more than just length and a lime-like profile.
