Description

Toro is known for its massive wines, and this fits the bill. Oak, tobacco and mocha aromas share the space on the nose with cassis and berry scents. Fully extracted tannins and raisin oak create a sizable palate of plum, cassis and vanilla flavours. Oak derived spice notes inflect the intense black fruit flavours on the finish. Drink through 2026.

No less than 94 of the 100 points of Robert Parker. And that is to taste. A wine to work with knife and fork inside. For lovers of very sturdy red wines. Tempranillo of more than 100 years old sticks and 16 months matured on French Oaks. Deep red colour of ripe cherries, an intense nose with aromas of black fruit. Raisins integrated with the vanilla of the wood, herbs and a light smoky fingerboard. The taste is very sturdy with round tannins, black cherries, blackberries, vanilla and huge length. and wine before the meal or late at night by the fireplace.

' Matsu ' is Japanese for ' waiting '. A tribute to all the wine growers who have been working with great dedication and wisdom in the vineyard for generations. The wines of Matsu come from 70-100 years old vineyards that are processed according to traditional and biodynamic methods. With respect for nature and the tides. Everything to express the solid character of the D.O. Toro combined with an unprecedented elegance.
