"Riccardo Campinoti’s 2009 Brunello di Montalcino is a unique wine in that it offers lower fruit personality and a much higher degree of floral intensity. You get pressed rose petal and violets with earthy garden tones and even a bright note of chopped mint. The wines are fermented in cement and then moved to oak casks for 36 months. Also of special note is the silky and refined nature of the tannin. Drink: 2017-2023.

Le Ragnaie is, in my opinion, the break-out star of the 2009 vintage. If I were to select my top picks of the 2009 vintage, these beautiful bottles would be among them. Their tasting profile – loaded with gorgeous, elegant floral nuances – clearly sets them apart. They are the essence of balance and Brunello beauty. WA 90"

In 2009 Le Ragnaie was the break out star. 2010 vintage has definitely defined this winery as one of the most promising wineries in Montalcino area. In fact their wines are almost impossible to find as the famous wine critic James Suckling has given their Brunello-s respectively 100 and 98 points. In my point of view, every word spent for this winery is fully deserved as their wines are pure elegance!
Try out their 2009 Brunello and you will understand what I am talking about. We have managed to secure only 5 cases of this and we can offer them to you at a splendid price, the cheapest around.
