Bodegas Aalto was established in 1999 by Mariano Garcia and Javier Zaccagnini with Mariano bringing 30 years of wine-making expertise at Vega Sicilia to the fore. Aalto is made from 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from 40 to 100 year-old vines, followed by ageing in American and French oak.
