Winemaker Notes

A red of good intensity, the Aguaribay Malbec's intense aromas resemble ripe cherries and raspberries that combined with the slight vanilla, give elegance and fineness to this wine. On the palate, it appears soft and silky, with rounds tannins. It is a wine of a medium structure, thought for a short guard, because the freshness and smoothness are its major virtue.

Ideal with red meats, plates of medium flavors and hard chesses.

The 2019 Malbec Aguaribay from the Uco Valley is 1/3 aged in used French barrels. Bright purple in the glass. It has a perfumed nose of fresh plum and sour cherry with both floral and herbal aromas over a whiff of rum cake. Relaxed in the mouth with a fresh flow and a little tension softened by the gentle tannins, this is better than an everyday wine with good nuance and a finish kept going by the juicy freshness. Drinking window: 2021 - 2029
