Description

This wonderful wine from the famous de Rothschild stable is at its absolute peak at the moment - a real treat for anyone with a love of good Corbières.

In appearance the wine still has a ruby core. The first nose is floral with a hint of cherry pie. The second nose - after a swirl - is plums, leather, damson jam.

In the mouth it is soft and medium-bodied. There is tannic structure and loads of good acidity - the reason for the wine continuing to age so nicely in bottle. On the palate there are more plums, nectarine skin and tobacco. The wine has a very long finish!

Personally, I think the vintage has another five years easily. I hope you will want to make a bid!
