Description

This lot comprises three bottles of Chateau Angludet. There is one bottle from each of the following vintages: 2008, 2009 and 2010. (Listed only as NV to cover the three vintages.)

Angludet is a perennial favourite and is regarded as one of the most consistent left bank non-classed-growth properties. It appears on almost every UK merchant en primeur list and as such I have acquired and consumed quite a lot of it over the years. I have tried Angludet in this excellent trio of vintages on many occasions and each is true to the vintage profile: 2008 lighter and elegant, 2009 rich and brambly and the 2010 also dark-fruited but more structured. While I have consumed considerably older vintages of Angludet, for me these wines are now in their sweet spot and I am enjoying my remaining stock over the near term. But there is certainly no rush.

These bottles appear in very good condition with the inevitable minor cellar markings to the labels--more so at the rear. The capsules look very smart, and there are good levels with no signs of ullage.
