My last bottle of Château Haut-Brion, a First Growth from the 1855 classification and a Classified Growth of the Graves. Located in the commune of Pessac, just a few miles southwest of Bordeaux’s city centre, Château Haut-Brion is unique.

The success of its wines stems from its commitment to tradition, core values, and the unique expertise developed over centuries. Combined with a modern and innovative vision, the estate aims to express the essence of its exceptional terroirs through its wines.

Characteristic of Château Haut-Brion wines are elegance and complexity, with a long finish. This remarkable aromatic persistence can be attributed to its noble origins. The wine is characterised by a fine structure and the complex aromas produced by the Graves soil. The grape blend is 52% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Cabernet Franc.
