Description

This is a reliable Cru Bourgeois wine, from an excellent vintage, which should now be drinking at peak maturity.

Jancis Robinson recommends drinking by 2015. The latest Cellartacker note from 2014 scores the wine 91 points and reads:
"My second to last. This bottle is going strong, still drinks well on night #2, 24 hours after opening it. A bit of rust at the edges. The nose is sweet cassis, a bit of cedar, maybe a touch of spice. It's very mouth-filling, good acidity, fine tannin. I suspect that this bottle would go another 10 years without any major issues, but I think the true sweet spot is now to 5 years from now. We'll see when I discover my last bottle!"
