The original Wine Society notes for this 2001 Opening Offer :
'This classed growth next to St Julien is handsomely repaying a decade of vineyard and cellar investment. Lots of classy flavour for the money. 2008–2018'
Jancis Robinson scored this wine 16 points in 2002 rising to 16.5 points in 2004.
The last Cellartracker review stated 'very good and drinking well, but no hurry', scoring it 87 points.
The wine was bought from the Wine Society in bond and has was transferred straight into storage at the Wine Society where it has remained ever since.
