Description

Good cellartracker notes:

11/19/2013 - GRIPNSIP LIKES THIS WINE:92 Points
Smells crazy, aromas of old currants, herbs and cow poop. Doesn't sound great, but it was engaging and delicious smelling. The palate shows it's age considerably, old fruit, earth, somewhat dusty flavours and feel. Structurally resolved and with a lower intensity throughout. The flavors here were complex and I really, really enjoyed this wine, despite my somewhat simple note. It was my 2nd favourite wine of the tasting, what it lacked in intensity it made up for in character.

6/23/2013 - DOCTORNOAH WROTE:91 Points
Lovely. '75 tannins resolved beautifully. Gentle but lively acidity and almost no mustiness. Out of the bottle, it had some nice cooked fruit and a touch of blackberry left, some typical leather and tobacco. A very classic old Bordeaux. Medium long finish. Better than expected.

10/16/2012 - BVANBOWER WROTE:92 Points
Drinking beautifully! Pleasant nose, brown edged colour.
