1x bottle of Clos des Truffiers produced by the prestigious Chateau La Negly, in the Languedoc region of La Clape, from the 2000 vintage, removed from temperature controlled storage in late 2020 and stored in dark cool cellar since.nnThis is a truly cult and most revered wines from the Southern France and a benchmark for the whole region.nA wine produced from old and low yielding 100% Shiraz vines, super rich and concentrated. A truly special wine made in very low quantities and considered by many one of the hidden best wines of France.nn...From the Languedoc-Roussillon's finest estate, Chateau Negly, we had the debut vintage of Clos des Truffieres, the 1997. This superb, still young wine exhibited vivid notes of blackberries, licorice, and espresso, a full-bodied, opulent palate, and tremendous purity. Essentially cut from the same cloth, the 2000 Clos des Truffieres was younger, bigger, and richer. Both of these wines, which were aged in 100% new oak, soak up the wood beautifully...
