Description

Wine Spectator rated this lovely Margaux 94/100, Robert Parker 92/100 in Wine Advocate. It's a magnificent Margaux, Deep ruby in color, a nose of black cherries, jam and dried herbs. In the mouth it's medium bodied, hints of vanilla and very soft tannins with a long, fruity finish.

It's ready now and might age for another year, but feels right to drink now - so selling a couple as we won't get through the case. We enjoyed this with roast lamb, it would go well with game and any mushroom dish. In the past we've enjoyed Margaux with roast chicken.

Purchased en primeur and stored since delivery horizontal in my own cellar which has constant temperature and humidity. I over-bought in 2010 so selling to clear some space in the cellar.
