Description

One of the many chateaux owned and run by the Lurton family.

A large estate of 37 hectares (red and white) situated between Carbonnieux and Haut Bailly planted with 70% cabernet sauvignon 20% merlot and 10% cabernet franc. 200.000 bottles of red a year of fine, intense and usually fruity wines.

The only problem with the 1997 vintage was rhe excessive prices demanded (and paid) `en primeur`.
1997 produced many lighter ut charming approachable clarets that are now getting to the drinking stage.

Bottle in perfect condition with a very high fill.
Has been professionally cellared.
