Description

Fourth Growth. Quatrieme Grand Cru Classe in 1855.

Found deep in my Father's cellar this has been stored there since purchase, we thought we'd finished the case two years ago and are pleased to have found a couple more.

Our notes two years ago were that this was a complex wine, fruit cake & wood on the nose. On the palate hints of salt, leather & spices to accompany the fruits, the tiniest hint of tannin to keep a robust, medium bodied mouth feel.
