Description

This bottle of Chateau L’Agnet la Carriere comes from the excellent 1990 vintage. On the nose, candied fruit and apricot aromas, with notes of honey, almonds and a touch of nutmeg. With aeration, these become more and more present and dominate the bouquet. Mouth is well balanced, as time has allowed the sweetness and acidity to come to a balance. This sauternes drinks brilliantly now – and will for the next couple of decades.

Except for the stained label, the bottle is in excellent condition: capsule intact, no trace of seepage, ullage at the base of neck.
