Description

Gorgeous rare magnum of third growth St. Julien. Has been stored in London City Bond (LCB) until I took delivery in December (‘21), since has been kept in the wine fridge at 14c. Bought for Xmas drinking but sadly never got the chance to enjoy (Covid!). This is number 2 of 4 magnums I will list.

For those unfamiliar with this estate:

In 1983 it was purchased by the Japanese Suntory Group which set about renovating the vineyards and the winery. Lagrange rose to become a model estate and even today few Bordeaux properties can match Lagrange, with its huge barrique chais and its state of the art cuvier with its 56 temperature-controlled, stainless steel cuvées.
